Year by year, our loyal clients and those who will join the roster may expect greater well executed and well tested Oracle processes and methodologies,” announced Alvarado. 

The Head of Oracle Sales revealed that customers should watch out for the brand’s Optimized Solutions, such as SPARC Supercluster, Oracle WebLogic Suite, Enterprise Business Suite, People Soft HCM, Oracle Siebel CRM, Oracle WebCenter 11g and Oracle Database 11g. The solutions mentioned are a result of Oracle software optimized for the hardware elements from its traditional strategy, the enhanced system is seen to bring better performance, availability, security, and manageability. 

During the product update presentation, Carlo Lasala, Chief Technology Officer of Wizardsgroup unveiled the Oracle Vault Audit and Database Firewall. A heterogeneous system under the Oracle Security line supporting Oracle, MS-SQL, Sybase, MySQL, IBM UDB, and SQL anywhere databases, which provides customers the operational flexibility to deploy the monitoring they need based on the sensitivity and security requirements of their databases. 

“Oracle technologies prods us to rethink how we build these technologies to be ten times the performance and ten times the value-- and that is about putting in consideration the reliability, security, and how easy to set up and manage a system,” Lasala said. 

Modern Finance, Modern Solutions

Following Oracle Security, Mitch Calderon, Head for Business Solutions Group shared the new trend in growth emphasizing the role of CFOs as new breed of influencers and strategic business partners.  "CFOs looking to the cloud to modern finance, new insights through advanced analytics and business intelligence will bring transformation to modern businesses," she said.

Fortunately, Oracle has a way to combine the insights from industry practices and unique processes of the company with Oracle E-Business Suite Financial Management.  "Wizardsgroup can help companies formulate a global approach to new trends in finance management from thinking the most desirable formula for them: through business process mapping, GAP analysis, requirement study, and system assessment; building knowledge or infrastructure from configuration, design and development, integration, consolidation, roll out and system application assessment; to operation, from performance tuning, go-live support, and system maintenance and administration," explained Calderon. 

Calderon introduced the heart of Hyperion's Enterprise Planning Solution—the Hyperion System 9 Planning, which is a centralized, web-based planning, budgeting, forecasting solution that drives collaborative, integrated, event-based planning processes throughout the enterprise.  "With the Hyperion 9, our customers can expect shortened planning cycles, improvement in accuracy of plans and forecast, and enhancement on business predictability from financial to operational areas," said Calderon.

​Another good news for CFOs is that all the core planning and budget functionality that exist in the Oracle Hyperion Planning application are now tied with the cloud.  "Our goal is to provide the most flexible deployment options to our customers, which can include on-premise deployments, pure cloud-based deployment, or hybrid approach where enhancements are done in the cloud, then testing and production deployment is on-premise," said Kay Calpo, EPM Sales Manager of Wizardsgroup.  "With Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service, our clients can have two environments that would lead to faster adoption, first-in-class functionality, and flexible deployment," Calpo concluded.
